Nike running heads rejoiced yesterday when the Nike Mayfly was brought back. The good news keeps coming as Nike brings back another classic runner from the 2000′s out of the vault. The Nike Air Zoom Moire+ is back and this time around they’ve elected to use leather and a casual colorway. Baroque brown leather drapes the upper with metallic gold accents. Nike Air Force 1 “Hamptons” Design Information
The upcoming Nike Air Force 1 “Hamptons” has been a very huge topic within the sneaker community as of late. We recently informed you of its actual release which will land on July 17th, 2010; however, today we take a look at its specific design cues and inspirations.
The Nike Air Force 1 “Hamptons” is predominately constructed of white calfskin and features minimal perforated leather detailing on the side panels. As for specific elements pertaining to the Hamptons, a signature laurel leaf H crest is embroidered on the tongue. Additionally, the words ‘Good Ground’ are seen on the foot bed of the left and right sneakers which pay tribute to the original name given to the area that was once populated by native communities. Lastly, the Nike Air Force 1 “Hamptons” is complimented with a transparent gel sole sports a graphic of the silhouette of Long Island.
As stated earlier, the Nike Air Force 1 “Hamptons” will release on July 17th, 2010 at select retailers nationwide.

Ascis Gel Lyte III & GT II Collection Preview
The Asics Gel Lyte III has been seen in many different colorways and texture makeups this year. However, there is much more to come with this silhouette and the GT-II for 2011. We now have a preview of next year’s Asics Gel Lyte III and Asics GT-II lineup.
The sneakers seen in this lineup features vivid, springy color schemes seeing that they will release during the spring/summer season. Colors such as orange, green, yellow and blue drape the Asics Gel Lyte III, while orange, blue and pink schemes are seen on the Asics GT-IIs. Nike “White Perf Collection” Quickstrike at House of Hoops
This Nike “White Perf Collection” is the latest Quickstrike at House of Hoops, releasing on Saturday, July 24th. Everything’s bright white at House of Hoops this summer, with 2 other Quickstrikes also going clean white (AF1 Hamptons, Hyperdunk 2010).
The collection has head-to-toe coverage, starting with an Air Force 1 or Dunk High. There are two white tees as well, “Be True” and “Membership.” Finally, there’s a Legacy trucker hat and an AF1 adjustable to close it out.

The Hyperdunk 2010 is the newest incarnation of the “Hyper” series, which started with the original Hyperdunk in 2008, moved to the Hyperize in 2009 and now lands here. There were a few off-shoots along the way (Hyperdunk Low, Air Max Hyperize, Air Max Hyperfly), but this has been the main path. The main tech update behind the Hyper series is lightweight Flywire support in the upper, which is embedded in the TPU layer on this latest model.
Nike Zoom KD3 – Detailed Shots
A white leather upper wraps a blue synthetic base, with embedded Flywire support bulging on the forefoot. A metallic silver swoosh dominates the lateral side, while a smaller swoosh and Kevin Durant signature appear on the medial side. The tongue displays the KD Logo, with the center of the D punched out. Cushioning is provided by Zoom Air. For more shots check the Gallery.
Jordan Retro 9 (IX) Black/Red
This Jordan Retro 9 (IX) Black/Red hits footlocker.com and Foot Locker stores Saturday, September 4th.
It’s been a big year for the Jordan Retro 9, hitting in OG colors (like this one, originally released in ‘94) and some new ones (like the Citrus releasing this week). This September release has a blacked out suede upper, with touches of red on the Jordan logos and lining. The IX was designed to represent Michael Jordan’s status as a global brand, and the outsole is marked up in different languages from Swahili to Spanish, describing MJ’s different attributes. Nike Air Force 1 ‘07 Gorge Green/White
The Nike Air Force 1 ‘07 Gorge Green/White hits Foot Locker stores on Saturday, September 11th.
This Air Force 1 is constructed like the Black/Black/Varsity Red colorway releasing a month earlier, which also features a combination of pebbled and patent leather. Pebbled leather comprises the main part of the upper, which is surrounded by patent leather on the toe cap, vamp, eyestays, and heel counter areas. The Nike swoosh symbols that overlay both sides of the upper are also patent leather. Only a solid white midsole and red label on the tongue break up the otherwise gorge green exterior.

Nike Air Force 1 Hamptons Quickstrike at House of Hoops
This Nike Air Force 1 Hamptons Quickstrike will release at House of Hoops locations Saturday, July 10th. This is the second AF1 summer release to show some Long Island love (the first being the Jones Beach AF1). “The Hamptons” is the popular vacation destination on the East End of Long Island and the translucent outsole reveals a map of the area.
